Lux Helsinki is a light festival held yearly all around in town, aimed at bringing light into the darkest season. The installations are placed outdoors, and many are projected on landmarks such as the Olympic Stadium, the Senate Square and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Together they light up a route stretching through Helsinki, and presents a wonderful sight for both residents and visitors.
Altogether Lux Helsinki will present 13 light installations in 2013. Most of the installations can be viewed from 4pm to 10pm, while some of the installations will be displayed from sunset to sunrise. Map of the installations can be found here.
