“Ølhallen” is the oldest pub in Tromsø and was established in 1928.
The opening hours are not so normal for a pub in Scandinavia. It opens as early as 09:00 in the morning and closes at 18:00 in the afternoon on weekdays and from 10:00 – 18:00 on Saturdays.
“Ølhallen” serves Mack beer.
Even though Mack brewery moved their production from Tromsø to “Nordkjosbotn” (70 km south of Tromsø), Ølhallen still supports the locals and tourists with beer and drinks from the most northerly brewery in the world.
The beer tasting include a guided tour with information about “Ølhallen” and Mack brewery, tasting of 2 beers in addition to a small souvenir.
